I was lucky enough to be taught Human Geography by Angela when I was at Peter Symonds College from 1984 to 1986. She was a core member of a great teaching team there. The lessons are still very useful to this day. Thank you Angela. Rest in Peace.

Thoughts
I remember so well the excursion Angela and I made to Western Mongolia in the summer of 2002 when she came to stay with me while I was working in Ulaanbaatar as a VSO volunteer. Angela loved the vastness and, of course, the geographical uniqueness of the landscape.
In recent years I have enjoyed many conversations with Angela over a pub lunch when I visited her at the White House.
